My Story

Tom Campbell, a Criminal Defense Trial Attorney at Denmon Pearlman, was born in Atlanta and raised in Connecticut. He interned at the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s office while working on his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama, where he graduated in 2016. He moved to Gulfport in 2017 to attend Stetson University College of Law and met our own Mary Katherine Bleckley (to whom he is now married) two weeks before starting classes. He competed regionally and nationally as a member of Stetson University’s Trial Team. Stetson’s Trial Team is ranked #1 in the United States, and the university itself is ranked #1 in the country for trial advocacy.

Tom interned at the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office while working on his law degree, and upon graduating from Stetson and passing the bar in 2020, he went on to work the next 3 years as an Assistant State Attorney for Pinellas County specializing in Traffic, Domestic Violence, and Narcotics.

Tom has a passion for sports and fishing, and is a former quarterback and catcher for his high school football and baseball teams. He also has a love for his two dogs, an 11-year-old Husky rescued in Tuscaloosa and a 4-year-old Golden Retriever that was a birthday gift for Mary Katherine in 2019.
