My Story

Mary Katherine Campbell, a Criminal Defense Attorney at Denmon Pearlman, was born and raised in Georgia. She earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a certificate in Global Studies from the University of Georgia. Next, Mary Katherine moved to Florida and earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport.

While in Florida, Mary Katherine spent six months as an Inmate Correspondence and Intake Intern with the Innocence Project of Florida. This experience solidified her passion for working in Criminal Defense. She has also worked as an intern for the Bay County Public Defender’s Office.

Mary Katherine competed regionally and nationally as a member of Stetson University’s Trial Team. Stetson’s Trial Team is ranked #1 in the United States, and the university itself is ranked #1 in the country for trial advocacy. Mary Katherine was a National Semifinalist in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Competition.

While in law school, Mary Katherine was a Teaching Assistant for a Trial Advocacy course taught by Denmon Pearlman Partner and Trial Attorney Lee Pearlman. She worked for Denmon Pearlman for about 18 months as a Law Clerk and is currently a Criminal Defense Attorney handling DUIs, drug charges, and arrest warrants.

Mary Katherine is an avid University of Georgia football fan. She also enjoys cooking and gardening.
