Justine Roof came to Denmon Pearlman as a Legal Intern in October 2018 where she performed numerous research projects, drafted a multitude of documents, and sat in a sundry of different legal hearings and trials.
Justine is originally from Grand Junction, Colorado; but, on advice from a judicial mentor, looked at Stetson University College of Law for her law school and immediately fell in love with the St. Petersburg vibe and Stetson campus.
When Stetson law offered her a full-tuition scholarship based on her intellectual prowess throughout undergrad, she quickly accepted the offer and could not wait to begin her life in St. Petersburg, FL.
Fast-forward to Justine’s second year in law school where she competed for and ultimately won a position on the #1 Ranked Trial Advocacy team in the nation. Justine’s teams placed fourth at Tournament of Champions in Los Angeles, California in 2017, second at the Show-Me Challenge in Kansas City, Missouri in 2018, and semi-finals at the Chester H. Bedell Mock Trial Competition in 2019.
Justine graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law with numerous Dean’s List Honors and in the top 12% of her class.
Since Justine was born and raised in Colorado she still bleeds the orange and blue colors of the Denver Broncos and avidly cheers them on in every game. Luckily she has an adorable puppy, so hopefully, that makes up for her choice in football teams.
